Every day of our lives, we are meant to learn something. Life is a journey. Like every other day, today is just as special. How we want our day to be is ultimately up to us. We want it to be gloomy...voila, it will be. We want it to be cheerful, voila, it will be. We set the pace. We determine the feeling. What we cannot control is how others feel. We can, however, control our reactions towards their feelings. Are we going to return a slap with a slap? Or a slap with a hug? It is all up to us.

As the Malay saying goes "Rambut sama hitam tapi hati lain-lain". Allah swt created us so different, so unique and so special in our ways. Even our brains are wired differently. The way we think, the way we talk and the way we write. That is why the world is such an exciting, stimulating and thrilling place to live. We should cherish the diversity instead of expecting others to be like us or think like us.

Similarly, different people blog for various reasons. How they write, What they write and the layout are all different. Just like any other form of written media, the blog has no VOICE. How each reader interpretes and perceives the writings of the author is up to the reader to decide. Each reader will react differently. The author has no control.

For us who blogs, it is INDEED an avenue for us to let our hair down. Say what we want to say. However, we cannot control how the readers interprete our writings. We may write in the most nonchalant way but the reader may perceive it differently. They may read it with anger, with hatred. We may write something comforting but it may be read with a tinge of arrogance. We can only play with WORDS, the rest is up to the readers' imagination.

AND THAT is the limitation of all written materials..be it the Blog, e-mails, books and even newspapers. We decide how we want to interprete. We imagine. We make our own interpretation. We make our own assumptions. In the end, we may even hurt ourselves WHEN actually there was nothing to it.
